95% of New Moms Say They Are Not Sufficiently Supported By Our Society
When we polled moms in our circles, we heard loud and clear that most women lack the support they need to navigate the intense transition to motherhood.
Women shared:
Unfortunately, you can probably relate to at least one of these sentiments. And this is why MyTribe exists. We know some women have a close-knit, in-person tribe to support them through the transition to parenthood.
But many don’t.
Even those who do have a community may still lack vetted resources and high-quality education on tougher issues that your mom or sister can’t help with in.
MyTribe Provides Our Members With…
Moderated, Positive Community
It’s no secret the world online can be a toxic place! Even mommy groups that are supposed to be supportive are filled with strong opinions, shaming, and a lack of sensitivity.
MyTribe is different. Our community is moderated by professionals, and we only allow a culture of positivity, support, helpfulness, and compassion. We provide trigger warnings and remove comments (and members if needed), so MyTribe is always a safe space.
We provide niched channels where you can form a tribe with people in your same season of life or who are going through similar challenges. We also have monthly virtual events with experts to answer your questions about a variety of topics, and as we grow, we’re looking to add in-person meet-ups.
Courses Tailored to Your Needs
Did you know the most effective way to treat postpartum depression (PPD) is by knowing the signs so you can address it as early as possible?
Postpartum depression is just one of the many topics we provide an expert-curated course about. But this reality of the efficacy of early education is a main motivator of what we do here at MyTribe. We offer a variety of courses included in your flat-rate subscription fee, so you can watch them on-demand, and as needed. These courses are packed with postpartum essentials and tips for new parents.
Course topics include:
Perinatal Mental Health

Feeding
Complications and How to Emotionally Cope
Concierge resources
When you’re in the thick of it, you likely don’t have the bandwidth to find a great lactation consultant or a specialist that helps with lip tie in your area. That’s why our members get access to concierge resources. Let us know what support you need. Then, give us a few days and we’ll get back to you with a trusted specialist in your area.

Frequently asked questions

We strive to be a supportive, educational tribe for you during the transition to parenthood and do hope to eventually offer in-person meetups. Certainly, if you meet someone in our online community who lives near you, coordinate a get-together! Other ways many new parents meet other people in the same phase of life are attending an in-person birthing class, going to storytimes or playtimes at the local library, introducing themselves to other parents at daycare, and posting on local social media pages or neighborhood pages asking if anyone is interested in a meetup. We know forming a tribe is scary and takes vulnerability and risk. And we know not everyone has equal access to do it. But, we know that community fosters feelings of success and happiness. So it’s undoubtedly worth building, whether that community is online, in person, or both.

Our moderators read the message boards and ensure that comments are positive and helpful. If they’re not, we’ll delete comments, and if a member of our community is not open to feedback about harmful posts, we’ll remove them from our community. But, we’ve found that like attracts like. And while our community comes from a diverse background with diverse life experiences, we’re all looking for one thing—a supportive tribe to help navigate the transition to parenthood. If you do see a comment or conversation that doesn’t follow our community guidelines, please email us at kimberly@mytribecare.com.

We do not offer our courses a la carte, but you can cancel your subscription anytime. So, if you join the tribe, take the course you’re interested in, and don’t want to continue being a part of the community, feel free to cancel anytime.
